You will be hated
Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. Mark 13.12
The aversion against the Lord Jesus will be so great that people will turn away from Him and prefer the devil. Because they do not believe in hell, the lake of fire does not exist for them; therefore, the Kingdom of God does not exist either. They will be deceived, to the point of thinking that our existence resumes to this lifetime. To them, the Lord Jesus is wrong and the devil is right. What a shame! As though believing in the Lord Jesus is a heinous crime. Imagine one brother handing over his other brother to die; a father, who did everything to prevent the death of his child, now has an belief contrary to Christian faith and kills his child, and vise versa, children killing their parents.
And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Mark 13.13
Usually, hatred occurs as a result of a past hurt, though nothing justifies a person hating another. But during this time, just because someone assumes his faith in the Lord, he will be gravely hated, without having harmed anyone.
Nowadays, we have seen this spirit of hatred. In the name of faith, many have been persecuted at home, work and among friends. There are even those who are hated by people that don’t even know them. There are cases of people who went to Church with the intent to harm or even take the life of the pastor, being that the only harm the pastor ever did was help in the deliverance of an addict, who had a life of very poor quality. By chance, is this wrong?
But, he who perseveres until the end, he will be saved. When it comes to the salvation of the soul, it does not matter what he sees, hears or endures, the Lord Jesus will always come first.
