From a spiritual point of view, all those who are alive to the pleasures sin are dead to God, Ephesians 2.1-4;

And all those who are dead to sin are alive to enjoy the presence of God’s Spirit, like it is written in the following text:

…together with Christ, and raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus…  Ephesians 2.6

Those who are alive to the pleasures of this world are dead to the pleasures of the forthcoming world;

And those who are dead to the pleasures of this world have already risen to enjoy eternity with the Lord Jesus.

One thing is certain:

No one can be alive and dead at the same time;

Either you are alive to God and dead to this world,

Or dead to God and alive to this world.

Reconciling your faith while living in the Kingdom of Light (justice) and the kingdom of darkness (injustice) is impossible.

Just like it is impossible to have your cake and eat it too.
