Will 2020 be the same or transformed?

Everyone wants their lives and families to be transformed from water to wine, but how does this happen? Just as it happened with the first miracle performed by the Lord Jesus:

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. John 2.1-2

The Lord Jesus was only able to transform the water into wine because He was invited to the wedding. As long as you do not invite Him into your life, leaving behind your ideas, opinions, and religiosity, making yourself void, He cannot do this glorious work.

And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” John 2.3

There is no way, sooner or later, the party and the wine will come to an end. Then comes the hangover, the guilty conscience, the bill to pay, and the emptiness continues!

Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2.4-5

Mary left us the valuable tip that we must obey the teachings of the Lord Jesus. Her attitude in commanding the servants to obey Him shows that the Lord Jesus was above her. We should always give ALL HONOR, OBEDIENCE, AND GLORY TO THE LORD JESUS, AND NO ONE ELSE!

Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. John 2.6-7

We are like these waterpots of stone. When we come to the Presence of God, we are full of wills, religiosity, opinions, and sins, but our lives are actually empty. The water placed inside the waterpots represents the Word of God that must fill us completely so that we can rebuke the doubts and evil thoughts that arise.

And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2.8-10

The interesting thing is that the transformation from water to wine happened on its path between the servants and the master of the feast, this is, we must keep on the path of obedience during all of our lives, because as long as we walk in obedience, the transforming work of the Holy Spirit happens.

The wine represents the Holy Spirit, who gives us flavor and life. First, He manifests within those that are waterpots of stone, so that everyone else can taste the transformation that took place within us.

The beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. John 2.11

So for sure, 2020, 2021, 2022… will be filled with the manifestation of God’s glory in your life, regardless of whether someone wishes you a happy new year or not. You already have the new wine quenching you day after day!
