Why haven’t I receive the Holy Spirit?
Why haven’t most Christians received the Holy Spirit when He was already sent?
What has kept you from being sealed with the Holy Spirit?
Absence of faith? Of merits? Absolute dedication?
There are many reasons.
I believe the biggest obstacle for the Holy Spirit to descend upon someone has been the lack of total surrender.
The Holy Spirit signifies the 100% outpouring of the Most High God upon those who believe. Anyone that wants to receive Him must be willing to surrender 100% to His Son, Jesus Christ.
He is the EVERYTHING FROM GOD for the EVERYTHING OF THOSE WHO BELIEVE.
Unfortunately, not everyone is truly willing to surrender their life or their sins.
They accept Jesus as Savior, but they do not want Him as Lord.
They want to enjoy life freely without a serious commitment to Him.
You can only truly believe those who claim to believe in Him after they RECEIVE THE SEAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
BECAUSE THOSE WHO TRULY BELIEVE WILL MARRY HIM, ASSUME THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE LORD JESUS BEFORE THEIR FAMILY, THE WORLD, AND HELL.
There is no half term. It is yes, yes or no, no. Either you BELIEVE OR YOU DON’T BELIEVE!
Many pretend the Lord Jesus is the Lord and Savior of their lives. They pretend to be faithful to Him. They pretend to be spiritual. They pretend to seek Him. They pretend they’re of God. They pretend, pretend and pretend…
They continue to pretend year after year.
In the political world, it is often said: you pretend to keep your word and I’ll pretend to believe it. And each one looks out for their own life.
Of course, the Spirit of God does not pretend to believe in a person’s surrender. But He knows the innermost being of man, and is saddened to see so much deception.
On the other hand, the devil enjoys this.
And the person’s life remains indefinitely tied up.
He goes to church, gives his tithe, makes vows, prays, cries, but does not surrender his right to sin.
Jesus said:
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3.36
Note: In the original biblical form, to believe means to surrender your body, soul and spirit UNCONDITIONALLY.
