Who do you walk with?
Noah was a just man, perfect man in his generations. Noah walked with God. Genesis 6.9
What does it mean to be just, perfect and walk with God?
A just man does what is right, even when he may be harmed by doing so.
A perfect man keeps away from everything that is imperfect. Friendships, traditions, habits, opinions, fashion trends…
These two characteristics are very divine and, therefore, bring us near to the Father.
However, to walk with God is to be with Him always in our thoughts, trying to understand Him, to serve Him better, to know His will, to imitate Him.
Just like when two people hand out with each other all the time… that friend who ends up looking like you in everything, you even have the same reactions. You know what he likes, you know when he doesn’t like something, and you know what he’s thinking just by the look in his eyes, because there is complicity!
To walk with God is to have complicity with Him, to the point of being directly rebuked by Him.
He talks to you.
He teaches you.
He shows you the way.
He guides you.
He knows what’s best…
