But cursed be the deceiver who has in his flock a male, and takes a vow, but sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished—for I am a great King,” says the Lord of hosts, “And My name is to be feared among the nations. Malachi 1.14

Why are there so many people in churches, some are even pastors, assistants, and members, but they are cursed? Because they have been deceiving!

God is not a person; He is not like a human being. God is most Holy. And He knows everything about us. God knows who I am, who you are. He knows our thoughts, our intentions, and the inclinations of our soul. He knows everything!

Look at the warning given through the prophet Jeremiah:

Cursed is he who does the Work of the Lord deceitfully… Jeremiah 48.10

God sees the intentions of your heart when you are truly serving God, and not yourself. He cannot be deceived. He has perfect knowledge of what is in each person’s heart.

The apostle Paul said:

For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 1 Corinthians 11.30

This is, many died because of a false Christian life.

These were people who spontaneously made a promise to God, but offered a completely different one, because they were deceiving.

The problem with a deceiver is that he is so used to deceiving others that he thinks he can deceive God.

But God defines Himself like this:

“…For I am a great King,” says the Lord of hosts, “And My Name is to be feared among the nations.”Malachi 1.14

The deceivers do not fear God, and because of this lack of fear, they are cursed.

My friend, if you recognize that you have been living in deceit, take advantage of this moment to remove your mask, pour out your soul, and humble yourself before God, by saying:

“My God, I need You, my Lord! I’ve been a hypocrite, a liar, a deceiver. Forgive me, and have mercy on me, because I am filthy. I need Your compassion, because I want to obtain a life that is according to what You want me to achieve.”

The door is always open for those who genuinely repent and surrender because the Father does not forget a son that invokes Him with sincerity.
