What would you do for your Salvation?

Man is used to doing many things in favor of his life.

But when it comes to Salvation, we are not speaking about 70, 80 or 90 years. We are speaking about an eternity with God.

The apostle Paul knew this. He was aware that this life is limited, very limited; this is why he was willing to do anything for his Salvation.

He said:

But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. I Corinthians 9.27

– Disciplining the body is oppressing the flesh. In other words, when my flesh wants one thing, I do another.

– Bring it into subjection is to have limits – this is called discipline.

The apostle Paul did not want to be disqualified, excluded.

He knew there was no profit in gaining the whole world and losing his own soul.
