Two kinds of people

There are two kinds of people who attend the church. The FIRST KIND involves people who only see the difficulties. In fact, the difficulties are inside of them; they have a pessimistic outlook on life. They don’t believe they can overcome the hellish barriers that are between them and the promises of God. They think that if they attend the church, have knowledge of the Bible, fast, and pray, they will eventually take possession of His promises. But the truth is that, unless they take an attitude, they will never take possession of God’s promises. As the Bible says, “For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise” (Hebrews 10:36).

The promises have to be conquered by me, and God wants me to take an attitude and fight against my enemies, who oppose me in order to stop me.

The SECOND KIND, on the other hand, involves those who only see the victory—even when faced with a situation that, humanly speaking, cannot be resolved. Their vision is the vision of faith. They know they have to take an attitude in order to overcome the insurmountable barriers that are between them and the promises of God. They have the same assurance Caleb and Joshua had, as it’s written, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30).

There are no barriers that an attitude of faith cannot overcome. I believe it’s time to take possession, WHAT ABOUT YOU?
