Tithes and marriage

Imagem de capa - Tithes and marriage

From a natural faith point of view, the tithe has nothing to do with marriage.

But from a biblical or supernatural faith point of view, the two go together.

Tithes are the foundation of a relationship with God.

They are the firstfruits, or the first of everything that is placed on the Altar as recognition of the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus in our life.

They are a sign of the covenant, pact, or marriage with Him.

A wedding ring on the finger symbolizes a commitment to another person. Likewise, the tithe symbolizes a commitment to God and typifies Jesus, the Mediator of the New Covenant between the Creator and His creations. Hebrews 9.15; 12.24.

The tither becomes the tithe himself, the same way Jesus was the Tithe of God for humanity. Jeremiah 2.3

Tithes and offerings were the conditions required from the descendants of Jacob to return to God.

“…Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts. But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’ “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation. Malachi 3.7-9

Tithes establish a partnership with the Lord of Hosts.

Also, the tither proves to himself, the world, and the author of curses that his Faith in the Living God is not a lie.

There’s no other way around it, anyone who wants the Seal of God, the Promise of the Spirit, Peace, Joy, Love and Life has to become an ally of the Most High God of Abraham, through faithfulness in tithes.

Otherwise, he will continue to live a mediocre life.
