Those who sow with tears
I have cried out to the Lord for the transformation of those who reach out to us for help.
I have already stated to Him that I prefer death than sowing His Holy Word to the wind.
After all, it is not fair for Him to transform water into wine and make about 200 people happy for a few moments, and not transform those whose lives are today at a standstill.
No! A thousand times, no!
What He did in my life, He has to do in the lives of those who listen to His Word.
Roberta Solano’s comment touched my impatient soul and brought me much joy.
This promise also helped refresh my memory:
“He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him,” Psalm 126.6.
Thank you, Bishop. This blog hit close to home because my husband was arrested a month ago, for something he allegedly did seven years ago.
He has been a member of the UCKG for three years and was the leader of the evangelization group. He is a great man of God, and yet, God allowed him to be arrested. The Work he is doing inside the prison is stronger than what he was doing out here, because there are men and young boys who need Jesus and help, love, attention, or just a simple visit. When I visit my husband, I also visit those who have been forgotten by their families. We pray, read the Word of God and my husband does meetings every day. Eight young men have already been converted to Jesus.
The inmates need this Work very much. They respect the UCKG because we truly love their souls. They listen to your message on the radio every day and their families are going to Church to fight for their deliverance. Therefore, no matter how painful it may be for both of us, it is gratifying to see these men praying, singing and smiling with the presence of God.
I ask you and all those who read this to pray for my husband, Jackson Douglas. May God give him strength and may he be used even more to win many more souls.
Bishop, thank you for everything.
God bless you.
