I was thinking about this video and it reminded me of this Bible verse:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:1-5)

In the video a woman balanced a series of palm branches on each other, all kept in balance by an extremely light thing – a feather.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

But when the feather was removed, the balance was disturbed, and everything fell apart.

This is how it is with us. The absence of the Holy Spirit causes everything to collapse, to fall, to lose the proper balance.

What had been a work of art became nothing more than dry branches scattered on the floor.
