The trumpets of evil

trumpet

We’ve conquered many victories. Yet none of them have been preceded by joy. On the contrary, just like a woman feels pain before giving birth, the same goes for us. And even more: the greater and more significant the victory, the greater and more distressing is the clamour of the trumpets of evil. The deafening sounds and hellish threats are like a bucket of cold water thrown on the certainty of our victory, attempting to neutralise the faith that success is ours.

Satan knows there’s no way to stop God’s promises from being fulfilled. He may be able to delay them with God’s permission. I don’t know what determines when they are fulfilled; whether it’s in God’s time, the lack of faith or our need for perseverance. What I do know is: whatever’s achieved by faith is always preceded by the enraged roars of hell.

It’s obvious that the noise of those trumpets alone has no effect, unless you pay attention to it and allow fear to enter your heart. Fear leads to doubt and doubt neutralises the power of faith. This has been a tactic of hell to delay or try to prevent the fulfilment of the promises.

We must remain vigilant and attentive to the noises, threats, or any demonic signs so that we can react positively. So instead of moaning, complaining or declaring defeat, do the opposite; continue firmly giving thanks to God for the victory that is coming soon.
