The trumpet blasts of the devil

Imagem de capa - The trumpet blasts of the devil

We’ve experienced many victories but not one of them was preceded by joy. Just like a woman feels pain during childbirth, we have felt pain.

The bigger and more wide-spread a victory is, the more disturbing the devil’s trumpet blasts will be.

The deafening sound of the devil’s threats are meant to paralyse our assurance of victory and neutralise our faith.

Satan knows there’s no way to block the Promises from coming true. But they can be delayed (with their Author’s permission) either because of God’s timing, or our lack of trust or perseverance… we don’t always know which. But one thing I do know is that victories by faith are always preceded by ferocious roars from hell.

Clearly, those sounds, in and of themselves, have no effect, unless we pay attention to them and allow fear to enter.

Fear creates doubt, and doubt neutralises the power of faith. This is one of the tactics of the devil to delay or block God’s promises from coming true.

We need to be vigilant and attentive to these noises and threats and to any other sign of demonic activity so that we are always ready to react in a positive way.
Instead of moaning, complaining or confessing words of doubt, we should stand firm and praise God because our victory is just around the corner.
