The emotional person is weak. Undefined in decision-making, undefined in faith.
Slave to the opinion of others.

This makes them unhappy, even though they believe in God.

“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4.18

Those born of the Spirit are spirit.
They live out the rational faith and disregard visions, feelings or emotions.
They believe in order to see and never need to see before believing.
Is this madness? Certainly, for the secular world.
Not for the world of faith, the Kingdom of the Spirit of God.

Only those who are born again can see the Kingdom of the Spirit of God. John 3.3
Only those born of water and of the Spirit enter the Kingdom of the Spirit of God. John 3.5
Only those born of God are able to win the war of salvation because they use supernatural faith.

Now, those born of emotion, of flesh or of the natural man, do not have the Holy Spirit to comprehend the world of supernatural faith.

As a result, they do not have the courage to make serious commitments with God, to deny their own will, take up their cross and follow Him.

Rather, they are, literally, cowards. At the slightest sound of the war drums, they flee. They do not have the courage to say no to sin and confront diabolical injustices.

Their emotional faith makes them timid before relatives, friends and acquaintances.

This does not happen to those born of God. Their faith is solid, grounded and based upon the divine word. They do not care for the opinion of others…

If everyone abandons them because of their faith, they become even stronger.
From their weaknesses, they find strength and take possession of the promises.

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2.14
