The army is multiplied: (Judges 7:23-25)

With the battle basically won, the rest of the Israelites can now join in the war. They did not have the courage to start the confrontation and would end up getting in the way, but upon seeing that the Midianites were losing, they gain courage and start helping. The important thing is to start, even with few resources, against everything and everyone, as long as you are with God. From the moment you start winning, victory itself will attract those who can help.
