A spirit of revolt is pure energy, a source of power. Depending on who exercises it, this power can be used for good or evil. Most people who revolt do so when they are angry. Think of a young man revolting or rebelling against his family who turns to drugs or even crime. A person who sees no way out of his problems shows his anger by committing suicide. Someone who has been betrayed takes revenge against his betrayers. Thus, each one of them uses his spirit of revolt as fuel for his actions. One who uses his spirit of revolt for evil does not care about the consequences. He rebels against a situation, showing his anger as hatred.

Now imagine exercising the spirit of revolt in the service of God! The result would be to turn against the spiritual forces which cause injustice. With divine direction, that power would not only reverse the situation but would also change an entire community.

In other words, the spirit of revolt, when used in partnership with God, promotes the well-being of all people and their families. How? By allowing the Holy Spirit to come upon you and to live in you.

Test it out. Put your spirit of revolt into the service of God and wait. Your spirit of revolt will awaken your faith and you will have a breakthrough!
