The Secret to a Happy Marriage

A couple was celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and decided to have a reporter cover the event. The reporter decided to interview the husband first. She politely congratulated him and asked:

What is the secret to a successful 50 year marriage?

And with a firm tone, the man replied:

– The secret is: I really love to eat the ends of the bread loaf. But during the past 50 years, every time I eat bread, I break off the ends and give them to her.

With a pleasant smile, the reporter then turned to the woman, congratulated her and asked the same question:

And she quickly replied:

– You know the ends of the bread loaf that he loves, but gives to me? Well, I hate them! But for the past 50 years, I have eaten them without complaining.
