The secret of the absence of doubts

Everyone knows that fear is a part of man.

The rich are afraid of being poor, and the poor are afraid of not being able to provide for their family;

The oppressed are afraid of the dark, of heights, of being in an elevator, of not graduating or obtaining a degree, etc.;

The healthy are afraid of getting sick, and the sick are afraid to die;

Sick people are afraid of not being cured;

Single women are afraid of being confined to solitude;

The religious are afraid to go to hell;

Those in debt are afraid of not being able to honor their commitments;

Cheaters are afraid of getting caught;

Criminals are afraid of getting arrested;

Politicians are afraid of losing elections.

As we can see, in one way or another, fear is present in everyone’s life.

Some more, some less. But everyone is familiar with this feeling.

Even those closest to God had their fears.

Abraham was afraid of being killed because of his wife;

It was no different with Isaac;

Jacob fled because he was afraid of his brother Esau;

Moses fled from Egypt because he feared Pharaoh;

Gideon was afraid to destroy his father’s altar during the day;

David had the courage to face Goliath, but fled from his son Absalom;

The great prophet Elijah feared Jezebel’s threats and fled into the wilderness.

In all the history of mankind, the only One who did not fear was Jesus.

He faced opponents and death without demonstrating any fear. Why is this?

Because He was filled with the Holy Spirit.

To be filled with the Spirit of God means to be empty of fear.

How can a person be filled with the Spirit of God?

When his mind is 100% occupied with the Thoughts of God, His Word.

This is why the order was given: “…be filled with the Spirit.”Ephesians 5.18

To be filled with the Spirit means being absent of any and all influences from this world.

Including its fears, threats and terrors.
