The purest and true love
It is with immeasurable joy that I am writing to you. I would like to share something that has recently changed my life.
There is a Hospital here in Campos do Jordão (São Paulo – Brazil) called S3, which treats people with tuberculosis, AIDS and Syphilis. They have a female ward, where I went to evangelize. I must confess that when I met the patients for the first time, I left thinking about my life and appreciating it much more – which I am thankful for not having reached the critical state these women find themselves in.
All of them are there because of CRACK. They are from São Paulo, and even though they are sick, they do not receive any visitors (we are the ONLY church that has the “courage” to speak to them about Jesus). In every room I entered, I was greeted with a warm and contagious smile. No matter how great their problem is, they still laugh and make us laugh.
There is a red wing as well, which is for patients who are on their death bed. Today, after the assistant began to pray for them and counsel them on Sundays, all of the sick people in that ward have improved 100%. Now, none of them are in a life-threatening state, or transmitting the disease.
Well, but what I really wanted to share with you is that we had an event for all of the women there on Jan. 20. We prepared breakfast and offered them hygiene kits. We prayed, spoke woman to woman, laughed, talked about Jesus, and gave them The V Woman book.
I have never seen them so happy! We did everything in Spirit and the Power of God was manifested. Every time we visit them, they believe more in the power of God, in their recovery and that their lives can change. This also helped renew my spirit. As I arrived today, I felt a sense of accomplishment, like I had won souls. And just like it has helped me, I think it will help many others as well. I am attaching a simple collage with photos from our event at the S3 Hospital.
Kisses,

And do not forget: “For thus says the High and Lofty One, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ‘I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.’” Isaiah 57.15
