“But cursed be the deceiver who has in his flock a male, and takes a vow, but sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished –for I am a Great King,” says the Lord of hosts, “And My name is to be feared among the nations.” Malachi 1.14

The Most High and Eternal God presents Himself to the “deceitful offering giver” as the Great King, Lord of Hosts, whose Name is feared among the nations, to show His wrath against deceitful servants.

There is a greater chance of salvation for non-servants than for deceitful servants. The deceiver has mocked the Great King, Lord of Hosts, whose Name is feared, with disdain, contempt and fraudulence. For this reason, he is condemned to the curse of the Lake of fire and brimstone. Unless he repents while he is alive.

During His earthly ministry, the Lord Jesus condemned the deceitful scribes and hypocritical Pharisees (Matthew 23).

In the Early Church, the beginning of the grace period, the same spirit of deceit manifested itself in Ananias and Sapphira. They did not fear God, even though they knew about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, they still lied to the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion: they did not have time to repent and died instantly. This is to say, the prophecy of the curse was fulfilled during the period of grace (Jeremiah 48.10 and Malachi 1.14) in the lives of the deceivers.

The apostle Paul also warned the servants of the Primitive Church to participate in the Lord’s Supper:

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 1 Corinthians 11.29-30

This means that many unworthy “servants” eat and drink to their own condemnation (curse). This is why many among us are weak, sick and sleeping (spiritually dead).

Why hasn’t the prophecy of the curse happened in the present day like it did in the Early Church? Whoever thinks this is greatly deceived. Evaluate the spiritual state of the current servants. There are pastors committing suicide, pastors with depression, ex-pastors, ex-bishops, ex-deacons, ex-assistants, ex-members, this is, people that are removed from the Altar or have abandoned the faith. How many do you know in this situation?

All over the planet, wherever I go, I have come across more people who abandoned the faith than those who are in the faith. Why is this? Because they insulted the Almighty God, Lord of hosts, and Great King with their unclean offerings and their fraudulent services. They exchanged their First Love for the love of the world and its charm.

Few have remained as good and faithful servants…
