“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9

In other words, it is no use not stealing, not lying, not living in adultery or idolatry. It is no use hiding behind one’s own righteousness.

For if a person seems to have a righteous life in everything, but there is something or someone taking the place of the Lord Jesus within themselves, there is no way that they can receive the Holy Spirit. It is not possible since having a heart that totally belongs to Him is a requirement of intelligent faith.

Therefore, we cannot let anything, or anyone dispute against the Lord Jesus for a place within us!

He must reign absolute within us! For the Holy Spirit is not poured upon a person only when He is their highest objective, but when He is their only objective!

Until you receive the Holy Spirit, you cannot be torn between Him and anything else!
