The furnace is for those who are of God

fornalha1

And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3.23

We can observe, in this biblical context, that the furnace was not created for those who were submissive to the devil, but for those who served God. King Nebuchadnezzar thought it would hurt those who disobeyed his command, but the Lord knew it would be good for His servants and His Kingdom. This is why the Almighty allowed Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego to be thrown into the burning flames.

If these three men had not been obeying God, they would not have been thrown into the furnace, but they would not have shown the glory of the Almighty to others, as it is written: Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants… because there is no other God who can deliver like this. Daniel 3.28-29

Also, because of their faithfulness, the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon. Daniel 3.30

Today, the devil has built furnaces to harm the children of God. He creates problems and conflicts to turn our faith into ashes. And God allows us to be thrown into the midst of these flames so we can be transformed into true men and women of God that will show His Glory to this world and will be placed in prominent positions.

If you complained about being in a furnace of problems, claiming that, as a servant of God, you should not be going through this, now you know your point of view was completely wrong.

The furnace was made for you. Not for you to be burned, but to be raised to a level above the one you are in now and raise the name of Jesus to a higher concept in the mind of others.

To be a true child of the Most High, that shows Him to those around you and be recognized as such, you must pass through the furnace. In it, God will make you stronger than the flames, because your faith was stronger than the threats of the devil.
