The end of times

The terrible famine that we read about in the bible sounds like something that has been overcome in recent days. It does not cause as much of a shock as it did in the past. But when biblical times are repeated nowadays, it is terrifying and reminds us of the prophecies of the end times.
It is very difficult to imagine the despair of being hungry and reaching your limit.
How can a mother come into an agreement with her neighbor to cannibalize her son one day and the neighbor’s son the next day?
In the past, such cruelty happened in Israel, 2 Kings 6.26-29
And the same is happening today in North Korea.
North Korea faces charges of cannibalism due to starvation in the country
A report in the Sunday Times points to a possible humanitarian crisis in North Korea
Terrifying reports of North Koreans eating people to satisfy their hunger – in some cases their own children – took over the international news in recent days. This information exposes the humanitarian disaster that the country may be facing.
The first reports were published on Sunday (27) by the British newspaper The Sunday Times. The newspaper compiled the work of independent reporters who were sent to North Korea by the news agency Asia Press, based in Osaka, Japan.
The Asia Press reported that they have a network of so-called “citizen journalists” in North Korea. The “citizen journalists” (an English term) are ordinary people who work as journalists, collecting information and producing news.
According to a report in the Sunday Times, a man was recently executed for having murdered and eaten his two children, in what was described as a “hidden famine”.
The newspaper also reports that the famine killed approximately 10,000 people throughout the country only in 2012.
Other similar stories have been reported by the citizen journalists. In another case, a man dug up his grandson’s corpse for food.
And a third person, “driven mad by hunger,” says the newspaper, boiled his own child and ate the flesh.
The dozens of interviews and reports that were collected led the Asia Press to conclude that, in 2012 alone, more than 10,000 people died of hunger in the country ruled by Kim Jong-un.
The Asian news agency compiled a report of 12 pages about the cannibalism in the country.
One of the reporters commented on the situation in North Korea.
– The numerous testimonies that we received about the cases of cannibalism are truly shocking.
