To see brothers of the same family fighting each other is normal, but to see brothers of the same faith fighting each other is not normal. When this happens, it is because they are not of God.

Those who are born of the Holy Spirit have His character, the mind of Christ, a new heart that is after the Father’s, an honest behavior, an honorable word, in other words, their character is totally different from the character of those who are not born from the Spirit of God.

I doubt that a person who is born of God will not keep his or her word! Just as the Father is honored when He fulfills His Word, His children are honored when they keep their word. The Lord Jesus, for example, teaches that a marriage made by God cannot be broken. His children honor their vows made on the altar, before the Word of God, for their word is worth more than their feelings.

People who are born of God carry the DNA of God, that is, they reflect the character of God.

To speak of character these days is like sowing amid strong winds; it’s like swimming against the tide of this world. For those who want to inherit eternal salvation, it is useless to profess the Christian faith if your behavior is contrary to the Word of God.

“If you abide in My word, you are my disciples indeed.” John 8:31

A disciple is not the one who says he is or who feels like one; a disciple is someone who follows, practices, keeps and obeys the Word of his Master.
