The desert that blossoms
While serving God around the world, I had the opportunity to see the Atacama Desert in Chile, which is the driest desert on the planet. All you see on both sides of the road that crosses the Atacama is sky and a vast area of dry land.
The interesting thing is that, even though it is the driest and most inhospitable desert in the world, from time to time the Atacama blossoms.
We are all on the road of life and, during our journey, we also cross through deserts. The good news is those who have the Holy Spirit know that, if the driest desert in the world sooner or later blossoms, the temporary deserts we pass through will also blossom.
We must just continue to be the very blessing to God and those who travel with us, towards our final destination, which is the Kingdom of Heaven.
I am glad to say that, whatever part of the road of life you are in at this moment, keep moving forward, continue to be the blessing, because sooner or later the desert will blossom for you too.
The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose. Isaiah 35.1
