By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went out to a place he was going to receive as an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

Everything about and inside of Abraham began when he STOPPED LEANING ON HIS CRUTCH, his land! His land was his inheritance, his support, his security his stability. But nothing he possessed could be compared to God’s inheritance.

The faith that was awakened in Abraham enabled him to understand this, and so he walked through the Gate of Haran, which represents the Altar of God.

Only after going out through this gate could he become God’s heir. Abraham sacrificed his father’s inheritance for God’s, left his reality and entered God’s reality.

Today is no different. The Lord God is calling, waiting for you to obey, to leave your world, to stop leaning on your crutch, and to place it on the Altar instead.

Only then will He reveal His inheritance to you, His greatness, which until that point will have been hidden from your eyes.
