Spiritual Quarantine

Imagem de capa - Spiritual Quarantine

To overcome the chaos that has ensued worldwide, it is necessary to adhere to the quarantine (isolation) as soon as possible.

That means to live separately from disease carriers, so as to not be contaminated and come out of this situation unscathed.

Physical survival now depends on being separate. It is no different when it comes to our spiritual survival.

It too depends on our separation and sanctification.

“…HOLINESS, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14)

Imagine the same care and investment that exists today to prevent contamination from the Coronavirus, also happening in regard to our spiritual life.

Now, many people pay attention to medical advice, but never paid attention to biblical advice. Nor did they they separate themselves from “disease carriers”, and so, they were contaminated with evil eyes, malice, grudges, gossip, lies – in short, sin. Today they are spiritually dead!

The Holy Scripture teaches us about the need to not only keep our hands clean (Psalm 18:20), but especially in keeping the heart clean. These are the words of the Lord Jesus:

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

It is separation and sanctification that keeps our hearts clean and so, make it possible to see the One who is invisible.

Therefore, we must constantly live in a spiritual quarantine, separate from everything and everyone that adds nothing to our salvation.
