Bishop, thank you for everything!! If God had not used you and Mrs. Ester… I don’t even like to think about it!!! My life had no value, I was like those lost dogs in the street: kicked by one person, kicked by another person… Constantly crying! Not even the TRADITIONAL churches accepted me, everyone rejected me. When I came to the Universal Church, a woman of God was sweeping the sidewalk, and I asked: “What is this place?” I saw a different glow inside, but I didn’t understand anything because it was a normal church, with wooden pews. She said: “It is your Father’s house…” At our Father’s house we can open the refrigerator, put our feet on the couch, sit on the floor… I liked what she said and went in… AND I NEVER LEFT! I cry every day because I remember like it was yesterday! Even the smell of that church is still in me! There was red carpet on the altar, a fan on the wall… Oh how I miss it!! Thank God, we still have assistants who saw me when I first came to the Church!!

I pray every day for you. I love the pastors, bishops – I have a son that is a pastor, who tells me: “Mom, you can’t imagine what a privilege it is to be on the altar!” And know that there are many more “Elianas” suffering out there…

Thank God, I surrendered!

Many fail to understand why millions surrender to this calling. They think that this is the work of man, one man. But it’s not! The Universal Church grows, evolves; this is, it transforms because it’s the realization of God’s dream here on earth. Through the Universal Church, God has transformed millions of lives, and one of them was me. Perhaps some readers are now expecting a beautiful testimony of financial success, numerous houses and cars, but no, not yet, though it will happen. What God did in my life cannot be bought with any amount of money in this world.

I remember that Wednesday as if it was today. It was noon, there was just over 300 people at the meeting, which lasted exactly 58 minutes – sorry about the details, but it was something unforgettable – I arrived feeling down and out. As if my family problems weren’t enough, I had just been fired from my job, which was my only distraction, the only thing that, until then, took me out of the house, “took” me away from the problems.

My soul was restless. A youth with no reason to live; I kept wondering why that was happening to me. My room was my world; I spent almost the whole day in there, awake, dreaming. I imagined how it would be if I had “luck”, if I had been born into a wealthy family, if I won the lottery, if I moved to the United States, if…

That Wednesday, we had the Lord’s Supper, and I surrendered. Although, on the outside, things still needed to change, my interior had been transformed. About a month later I was baptized in water and a few months after that I received THE BIGGEST PRESENT, THE GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT HERE IN THIS WORLD: THE HOLY SPIRIT. Since then He has led my life, He has been with me at all times, whether good or bad, after all, we are human and are also subject to errors and problems – the difference is in what, or rather, Who guides us during difficult times.

With the Holy Spirit, everything is different. A couple of days ago, I bumped into some acquaintances from my youth and I could see how my life might have been without Jesus, if I were still alive. Some of them were under the influence of drugs; others were single parents – until one caught my attention: at the age of 25, she already had 6 children, each with a different father.

Others, unfortunately, never grew up. One of the most popular guys from the group was killed in front of his house, in front of his girlfriend, in his father’s arms, and they couldn’t do anything about it.

That day, I understood how good it is to be under the protection of the Most High, in the arms of a True Father, who guides us on a daily basis. These past years with Jesus, at the Universal Church, He didn’t only make me a different person, but He gave me a beautiful wife, a blessed son, a brilliant talent that I discovered on the Altar. Through this talent, I am sure that God will realize His promises in my financial life. I have already enjoyed His fruits, and greater things are to come.

In this world, I gave up things and people to live with God, and because my life was placed on the Altar, He will realize His dreams in my life, just like He turned the Universal Church His reality!

My God, may you always exhale the Universal Perfume, the Perfume of Jesus in my life.

More than congratulations, I THANK YOU FOR THESE 36 YEARS!

With three masters degrees, I can truly say that it was at the “UNIVERSAL SCHOOL” that I learned how to have a better life.

A life with quality – healthy, happy and prosperous.

It was where I found true LOVE.

It was where I saved my dignity, my self-esteem.

They taught me that I can, that I can do everything, that nothing is impossible for those who know GOD.

It was where I had an encounter with God.

It was where I changed my identity: FROM AN UNSUCESSFUL WOMAN, DEFEATED AND UNHAPPY, TO A HAPPY AND VICTORIOUS WOMAN.

I don’t know what I would do without God and without the UNIVERSAL CHURCH.
