Revolt

Gideon’s strength was in his revolt. But his revolt was not in his heart, but in his mind.
In his mind, he was conscious of the God of his forefathers and of His wonders. The Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent God—that is, the God that worked indeed!
Through His faithful and devoted servants, He delivered three million slaves from Egypt, and turned His children into a nation: Israel. This caused them to be envied and, consequently, hated by the people of the East.
How could a bunch of slaves become a nation?
Everyone turned against them; no one wanted Israel to become a nation. And the same thing happens to the UCKG in relation to other churches and religions around the world!
Because of his intelligent faith, Gideon was revolted against the situation of his country. He refused to believe in a God so great and yet submit to the slavery imposed by the enemies.
His revolt was not a mere feeling of the heart; it originated in his mind. Why accept slavery if God had set them free from it? This is intelligent faith.
Emotional faith does not have the courage to take attitudes. It doesn’t have the courage to sacrifice in exchange for salvation, much less to conquer blessings. Emotional faith is cowardly and subject to adverse circumstances.
But when faith is separated from emotions, the opposite happens! Intelligent faith refuses to live a miserable, shameful, and humiliating life…
If God is the Father and the Owner of the whole universe, how can His children have a bad quality of life?
Do you think rational, supernatural, intelligent faith accepts that???
Only the children of darkness do!!!
