Renunciation

Imagem de capa - Renunciation

Every servant knows that the Work of God requires renunciation. This is, you have to sacrifice your needs to meet the needs of others. However, what most servants don’t know is that it’s not enough to sacrifice just some of their needs. And this is precisely what makes a difference between the true servants of God and the false ones!

If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14.26

Who would be willing to sacrifice his family and even his life to follow and serve the Lord Jesus? Sometimes, sacrificing your own life, though painful, is still easier than sacrificing your family.

To hate father, mother, wife, children and siblings involves renouncing the strongest connection to man: family ties.

Do you remember what God asked of Abraham? The sacrifice of Isaac? Yes, the God of Abraham continues to ask for “Isaacs” today…

Many times, people offer their lives on the Altar but are not willing to sacrifice their family idols. This is why it is so difficult for them to be born of the Spirit.
