God is after quality not quantity. It’s true that He finds quality among the quantity, “for many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22.14).

Everyone who hears the Word of God is given a chance to be chosen. The problem is that not everyone has ears to hear; and many of those who hear are not faithful in the little.

When Gideon blew the trumpet in order to summon soldiers from all over the territory to fight for Israel, 32,000 men came. Because of fear and lack of confidence, 22,000 men went back home. Besides them, another group of 9,700 men manifested prosthetic faith, that is, the removable faith.

Only 300 men were chosen. That is, less than 1% remained. Unfortunately, many indeed are called, but few are chosen…
