If you carry the unbearable weight of grudges, or of a sad past inside of you, you need to fix this problem. Resolve this and every other problem will also be resolved. Amen? All of them will be resolved. Little by little you will notice that your life is being transformed, but first you need to treat your inner self.
You can approach the Mount Moriah Challenge in two different ways.
Some people that have already been delivered, already have the Holy Spirit and can say, “I’m free, I’m a newlywed in my relationship with God” — and yet they may still have financial or family problems… so they should focus their prayer request on physical instead of spiritual needs.
However, others still feel oppressed, for one reason or another are unhappy with themselves, their self esteem is low, they are irritable, restless, they don’t get along with their husbands or wives, or have bad relationships with their children because THEY are the problem…
They should put their lives on the altar so that all their problems can be solved. Understand?
These are reasons for people to climb Mount Moriah — for people who think, who reason, who use their minds not their emotions.
You may wonder, “Am I climbing Mount Moriah? I’m going to make my prayer request. I’m going to conquer a dream.”
You might even see your dream come true, but if you have an internal problem, there is no point in achieving a dream or fixing an external problem.
When a person is born of God, they are full of light. That is what God promised Abraham. “I will make you a blessing.”
I want you to know that God does not want you to be a “seeker of blessings.” He wants you to be a blessing.
