Preserving the Faith that Saves

Imagem de capa - Preserving the Faith that Saves

When it comes to preserving the Faith that Saves, we cannot play around, we cannot act on our emotions, we cannot allow any kind of breach, because the Salvation of the Soul is the most precious thing that God has given us, since He does not want us to only spend some moments of this life with Him, but all eternity at His side. For this reason, God issued serious warnings to Israel (Church) about the measures that should be taken. We find this in Deuteronomy 13 (read).

1stWarning –Notice that it is for the prophet (pastor, bishop, assistant, etc.) that may even perform miracles, preaches well, does “wonderful meetings”, full of emotion to captivate his followers, but he is deceitful, because he persuades people to follow false gods, which to us may be false ideas, rebellion against spiritual authorities, and dissensions.

These men are ambitious, friends of pleasures, only think about themselves and want people to follow them. Their eyes are entirely set on the gold and not on the Altar. The order is clear: they must be eliminated; this is, we cannot listen to them, nor follow their false teachings.

Those who are God-fearing do not allow themselves to be led by the eyes, because the fact of performing miracles does not mean this person is of God, since the tree, the true man of God, is known by its fruit and not by the gifts of power. Don’t forget that on that day many will say:

Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7.22-23

Therefore, we cannot be persuaded. The true man of God will always lead people to worship, to serve, to obey only and exclusively the Lord Jesus. He will never seek his own glory or benefit, because he lives to serve his God and Lord.

2ndWarning –it regards our loved ones. We cannot allow our love or family ties blind our understanding, to the point where we do not use reason to judge things. Whether it’s our father, mother, brother, husband/wife, children, or close friends, trying to persuade us to abandon our faith in the Lord Jesus, speaking ill of the church, the pastor/bishop/assistant, criticizing our faith or the House of Our Lord and Savior, even if they have a very good argument, we cannot listen to them or let ourselves be deceived.

We need to put a stop to these people by warning them not to do this anymore. If they insist, then our hand should be the first to “stone them,” this is, we must remove them from our lives. We can no longer maintain these ties, even if it hurts, it doesn’t matter, because where we spend eternity is more important than any thing or person. When we are not radical with such things, we are jeopardizing our greatest treasure. FAITH HAS NO EMOTIONS.

3rdWarning–is against a city, which today represents the church. If a person sees a pastor/bishop/assistant trying to divert the church from the Path, bringing in doctrines or anti-biblical ideas, committing sins, speaking against the spiritual leadership of the church, then there is nothing to think about, there is no friendship! Even if it is the person who helped us during our conversion, it doesn’t matter; he must be immediately be taken to the leadership of the church to be removed from the ministry. We cannot allow the church to be harmed by one or more elements that carry the same feelings as Satan, which are rebellion and pride. We have to eliminate them. THIS IS THE LAW!

Note that God is radical when it comes to this subject and He wants us to be like Him. There should be no emotions when it comes to things that harm our faith, our relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus and try to cause us to lose our Salvation, these people must be removed from among us. When we do this, we are preserving our salvation and will be blessed because of our loyalty and faithfulness to the Lord and God.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the church! And those who have reason, obey!
