Infused with uncontrollable hatred, Satan held a meeting with his principalities and yelled, “What are you doing to stop Him from progressing in our area?” Each one described how hard they’d been working, but one of them, calmly said, “I don’t know what my colleagues are doing to reduce the evangelism, but my team has, subtly and with great success, been doing an excellent job inside the churches. We’ve used hymns to stimulate emotional praise, diverting the thought of meditation in His Word.



Through this method, we’ve been able to introduce a new craze, falling down under God’s power. They think that they’re falling because they’ve received Him. In fact, we’ve had great success with this and other deceptions because they’re basically being moved by emotional faith. Such success has led us to create the Praise Ministry, where they think they’re pleasing Him.



I would like to emphasize a Biblical fact. David played the harp to soothe King Saul when the evil spirit came upon him. He was successful at the time, but that didn’t completely eliminate his depression. The evil spirit calmed down for awhile, but didn’t leave him for good. This means that melodious emotions don’t solve anything. Worst of all, they elude you with a sense of well-being.
