Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day you rescued me!!!! Though I may live for many more years, and I continue to thank you every year that I live, it still won’t be enough to express how much I’m grateful for having been rescued!!! Thank you!

God used you and my pastors to give me the opportunity to be pulled out of hell, so that today I could say to Him: FATHER, THANK YOU!! It may seem silly, but only those who have spent a day in hell and made it back out will understand the value of a rescue and the need to thank the person that helped them!!!

God restored my life, my hope, my dignity, my SALVATION, and that is priceless! A year has passed, and there were many battles. Many were because the devil, our enemy, does not give up easily!

However, I have also obtained victories: the first one was my Salvation, which is my most prized possession! And now God has restored EVERYTHING that the devil took from me – the inheritance that was completely interwoven between Satan’s fingers was taken away from him – all in God’s time, but sooner than most expected. First I retrieved my mother’s jewelry that had been declared “lost”. It were being held at the bank since she died, and they simply gave them to us (not even our lawyer could believe it, but my FAITHFUL lawyer, Jesus, ordered it to be done!).

I owed money to four moneylenders and now I no longer owe anything. I was working at a job that paid very little (I always had a good salary before coming to live in Feira de Santana-Brazil and getting involved with so many bad things), and today I am a hospital coordinator, which God opened the doors for me, and my salary is almost three times the amount I received at the other job (and I know that I’ll be getting a raise in December!). And this week, during the week of JUSTICE, the land that my father left us was sold. I’m going to sign the bill of sale and in 60 days I’ll be receiving that part of my inheritance. This is only the beginning because there is another piece of land and there’s a house in Portugal that need to be sold, but I believe that soon this will all be resolved as well.

God is faithful, and He never forgets His loved ones! Today, when I hear a song, a movie of my life races through my mind, but one day I know I will give a testimony and that souls will be won, because God has plans for the lives of the many who are fallen away like I once was. I know that I will no longer be an assistant, but this doesn’t faze me, because what I really, truly, wholeheartedly want with all of my strength is to win souls for my LORD!

“They said I couldn’t do it. They said my dreams ended there.

When my feet were broken, they mocked me, criticized me.

They sent me to Lo Debar (I know this place very well!).

A land of nothingness, and I remained there alone, humiliated, helpless…

But there was hope in my heart. The King promised not to forget me.

I know this day will come (09/16/2012), and I will see the King’s carriage coming through the city to pick me up…

I will sit at the King’s table! I will eat at the King’s table!

And everyone that humiliated me will see me sitting there and they will know that I was invited!

I will retrieve the lands I lost and all the treasures that my Father left me, when He fought the battle and His life was taken.

This is what happens when God promises. Time may pass, but He will never forget about you!”

I will be going to Sao Paulo soon to take some classes and I’m going to look for you, this is, if you are in Sao Paulo at the time. I know that you’re used to hearing “thank you” every day, but know that from all the very important meetings in the Work of God, the Rescue meetings are exceptionally important. This is why I ask God every day to keep you safe, and protect your heart, feet and eyes so that nothing will make you stumble, and that your eyes never get tired of seeing what God has chosen you to do!

He could have chosen anyone else, but He chose you, so always remain at His feet and you will remain standing!! God bless your life infinitely and wherever you are, may there be angels protecting your life and your family’s life!
