Nothing to Lose 2 in Mexico
More than 70,000 readers filled the Gandhi Bookstore, the most prestigious in the entire country, to obtain the second volume of “Nothing to Lose”.
Last year’s event had already surpassed attendance and sales records in Mexico, but this time, the book’s performance surprised the Mexican bookstore chain and their publishers.
The area surrounding the event was taken over by mile-long lines of people that came from different cities like Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Veracruz.
In total, 103,348 copies of the Spanish version of Bishop Macedo’s biography were sold.
Bishop Paulo Roberto Guimaraes, one of the first pastors of the Universal Church, greeted the Mexicans and signed books.
Last Sunday, 09, the book’s sales made it into Mexico’s history with numbers that had never been seen by any other literary work!
