Nations and kings

Imagem de capa - Nations and kings

So Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelek, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children. Genesis 20:17

Abraham did not become envious of Abimelech because his wife and servants could have children, and Sarah could not. He knew that what God had for him was infinitely greater.

I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. Genesis 17:6

I will bless her and also give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she will be the mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.” Genesis 17:16

Abraham was not envious of Abimelech, because the most that he, his wife and his servants could have, were children. But God had prepared something eternal for Abraham and Sarah.

God did not want them to only have a son, but for them to produce nations and kings.

What God has prepared for us who have the vision of Abraham is infinitely greater than any worldly conquest.

God wants us to produce nations and kings!
