She has been a true warrior of faith…

Mrs. Beatriz is a 92-year-old Portuguese woman that is currently residing in Porto – Portugal. She has been a member of the Universal Church for more than 20 years.

When she first arrived at the Church, she suffered from various problems in her spine, knees and legs that made her seek help in various hospitals, doctors and specialists in search of a solution and possible cure.

However, no matter how many treatments she did, nothing helped restore her health. Much on the other hand, her problems seemed to increase each day.

She was a single mother for many years and, due to her health problems and the treatments she underwent, she became a very nervous woman, which often caused her to loose control at home.

Some years later she got married, but her husband was an alcoholic and had a gambling addiction. He would spend all of the family’s income.

She says that the day she set foot inside the Universal Church was the happiest day of her life, and that was the only place she found a cure – a solution to her health, emotional and family problems – and found the Peace and Joy of Salvation.

On account of her UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and INTELLIGENT FAITH in the Living God, who found and saved her, she has prayed every day, for months and years in favor of Bishop Macedo and all of the other bishops and pastors of the Universal Church.

Despite her advanced age and the persecutions she’s endured, she does not miss the meetings on Fridays and Sunday mornings.

She has been a true warrior of faith that, despite the difficulties, still cooks for herself and does all of the other household chores.

She undoubtedly is an example to be followed by all those who are Universal.
