Lord of the Rings x Lord of Revolt

The Lord Jesus was the most revolted of all men.

1 – He revolted against the merchants of the temple, overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves, Matthew 21.12

2 – He did not allow anyone to carry any objects inside the Temple, Mark 11.16

3 – He condemned the scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, Matthew 23.13

4 – He called king Herod a fox when he was threatened with death, Luke 13.32

5 – He healed on the Sabbath, contrary to religious tradition, Luke 14.3-4

6 – He sat at the table with publicans and sinners, Matthew 9.10

7 – He spoke with the Samaritan woman at the well of Jacob, John 4.5-18

8 – He healed ten lepers, knowing that only one would return, Luke 17.11-19

9 – He rebuked the fearfulness and little faith of His disciples, Matthew 8.26

10 – Appalled to see a sincere man sitting at the tax office, He called him to follow Him, Matthew 9.9

11 – He was merciful with the sheep, but was harsh with the wolves, Matthew 9.36 –  Matthew 7.15

12 – He warned: I did not come to bring peace on earth, but a sword, Matthew 10.34

13 – Permitted the disciples to reap heads of grain on a Saturday, Matthew 12.1-8

14 – He healed on the Sabbath, John 9.14

15 – Approved that David and his companions ate the showbread because they were hungry, which was only for the priests, Matthew 12.3-8

16 – Taught us how to bind the strong man (devil) and plunder his house (a person), Matthew 12.29

17 – Called the religious hypocrites a brood of vipers, Matthew 3.7

18 – He confessed that His mother and His brothers are those who do the will of God, Matthew 12.50

19 – When Peter dared to give Him advise, He said: Get behind me, Satan! He revolted against his attitude and was not shy about it, Matthew 16.23

20 – He cursed a fig tree because He did not find figs on it, Matthew 21.19

21 – He condemned the scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, Matthew 23.13

22 – He was hated because of His revolt against unrighteousness and ensured that we would also be hated. This is, he did not promise that our journey of faith would be easy. Instead, He assured: “You will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” Matthew 24.9

23 – If He rebelled with the futility of the 3rd servant who did not multiply your talent and sentenced him to the darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:30

24 – He revolted against His will, to do His Father’s will, Matthew 26.39

25 – In addition to these facts, we consider His teachings and speeches to be filled with revolt.

To live in the Spirit is to live in the faith of revolt, to change the situations imposed by evil.
