Living water or deadly water

The belief that’s spoken about in Scripture has nothing to do with ordinary faith.

Many believers fall or are oppressed because they lack discerning-faith.

They assume that accepting Jesus as Savior is enough to be a believer of Jesus.

Pure deception.

Jesus said that those who believe in Him, as Scripture has declared, would see rivers of living water flowing out of his heart, John 7.38.

But we see the opposite. Of those that believe in Him, most have toxic water flowing from their interior.

Why is that?

The verb “believe”, in the original Greek, means total surrender: body, soul and spirit. It involves 100% submission to Christian teaching in the Bible.

Jesus said, whoever believes in Me, that is, whoever surrenders to Me, embraces My thoughts, practices My ideas, is submissive to My discipline, in other words, whoever hears and practices My Word in a wholehearted way—from his heart will flow rivers of living water.

The Fast of Daniel is a purpose for those who are thirsty for a new life: people who are tired of religion, doctrine, rules, obligations, men’s burdens and all else that brings no positive benefit.

What is wrong?

The mistake is made when people believe in Jesus but don’t trust in Him. When you believe in Him you are not necessarily forced to practice His Word, in contrast to when you trust.

For example, this Sunday (or next, depending where you are in the world), along with the tither’s consecration we will have the Day of Forgiveness.

Let’s put into practice the forgiveness that Jesus demanded, so that we are forgiven and are enabled to receive His Spirit.

This is belief in action according to the Word:

And forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors…

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your
trespasses.
Matthew 6.12,14,15
