How many times have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but absolutely nothing changed in your life?

The problem is that you accepted Him, but you did not surrender your life.

To accept Him or to reject Him makes no difference at all until there is a complete surrender.

How can someone accept Jesus without surrendering their life and still expect a new life?

It is impossible to receive a new life without surrendering your present life.

It is impossible to have two lives at the same time.

The outpouring of the Spirit of God is subject to the total and unconditional surrender of life to Him. Not His acceptance!

This is why the Lord commands:

Put on the whole Armor of God… Ephesians 6.11

The whole Armor of God is the Fullness of God, this is, His Spirit.

In the same context, He adds:

Take up the whole Armor of God… Ephesians 6.13

To put on or take up the whole Armor of God it is necessary to give or surrender your life to the Lord Jesus.

The Spirit of God is the Spirit of Faith. The Faith that brings forth the Spirit; the Faith makes you spirit; the Faith that makes it possible for a person with a bad character to become a new creation, filled with the Holy Spirit.

However, this Faith demands the sacrifice of your present life in exchange for a new life that is offered by the Lord.

To put on or take up the whole Armor of God is a purely personal and nontransferable act made by those who truly want to change their lives.
