Like a fish out of water…

Imagem de capa - Like a fish out of water…

What we see most these days are people eager to be recognized and appreciated by their leaders – who are also men.

But the true grace of a servant, on the other hand, is recognition from the Heavens, and this comes naturally when God accepts and loves “his Altar and his Sanctuary.”

…The Lord has caused the appointed feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion. In His burning indignation He has spurned the king and the priest. The Lord has spurned His altar (offering), He has abandoned His sanctuary (service); He has given up the walls of her palaces into the hand of the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the LORD as on the day of a set feast. Lamentations 2.6-7

This is a great tragedy in the life of someone who thought he was a servant, but had his Sanctuary (service) and his Altar (offering) rejected and despised by God, because he served man or himself, but not God.

Though he seemed capable in man’s eyes, he did not bear fruit, because everything that is done in a deceitful way for God is cursed and does not flourish!

Until the day and time comes when this “servant” feels like a fish out of water among us, and leaves to do his own will!
