Know the enemy
To reach a goal, you must first know it. The more you know about it, the higher the chance of achieving it.
To defeat an enemy, you must first know his weapons and techniques. This is done at the beginning of a war.
Victory over evil depends on the knowledge of his weapons. Without a doubt, doubt is the devil’s number one weapon.
He doesn’t care about what we think, or don’t think.
Doctrines, denominations, traditions, customs, and everything else make no difference to him. In fact, all these things help him distract Christians from the faith.
His goal is to neutralize the action of living faith, since it is the only weapon capable of overcoming him.
Not an emotional faith, but a conscious faith.
One day, I was called to the house of a desperate mother. Her daughter had been manifested for hours, and no one was able to cast out those demons.
Though she was an active member of another church, the mother used the Bible to try to deliver the young woman. But the entities, using the girl’s body, laughed, laughed and mocked the woman and others who were also there.
She had done everything to cast out the demons. She used anointed oil, the Name of Jesus and everything else available to her, yet nothing helped.
Feeling tired, she finally decided to call us. And we arrived near dawn. To my surprise, there was shredded paper all over the room. Her old Bible had been made into confetti…
After ministering the authority of the Lord, He was honored and the devil was humiliated.
The lesson learned here was that the only weapon capable of overcoming all hell is a faith that is assumed and practiced.
The Bible itself, the oil, much less the simple use of the Name of Jesus, does not guarantee victory. It takes more!
You have to use the authority of the Lord Jesus in His Holy Name!
Confrontation with the devil cannot be made in the material realm, but in the spiritual realm. And the Christian has to be in the spirit to overcome him!
The devil knows very well when we are in faith or not. He knows when we express an emotional faith or a rational faith.
With emotional faith, we act according to circumstances. With rational or conscious faith, we act according to the promises of God.
To evil, when we use intelligent faith, our bodies are like a flame of fire. (Psalm 104.4)
When there is no conscious faith, Spirit or fire in the confession of the Name of Jesus, there is no result…
