Jacob got tired of being Jacob.

Having blessings, but not being the blessing himself;

Having promises, but not enjoying them.

More downs than ups; trials, fears and anxieties.

Until he got tired of running, of deceiving and being deceived;

Tired of having a bad character.

Seek the same dignity found in his father, Isaac’s character,

The blessed inheritance of his grandfather Abraham,
