Reading the Bible does not make you a spiritual person, but those who are spiritual meditate on the Word of God.

Going to church does not make you a spiritual person, but those who are spiritual consistently attend church.

Doing good to others does not make you a spiritual person, but those who are spiritual do it every day.

Doing the Work of God does not make you a spiritual person, but those who are spiritual cannot live without doing it.

Praying does not make you a spiritual person, but those who are spiritual pray incessantly.

The answer is precisely in the conversation that the Lord Jesus had with Nicodemus:

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3.6

In other words, when you are flesh, you are flesh and cannot be spiritual. Therefore, a person cannot learn to be spiritual, either you are or you are not.

Do you want to be spiritual? Seek to be born of the Spirit.
