Heaven or Hell

Imagem de capa - Heaven or Hell

People are giving more value to what is transient and despising what is eternal. However, this is not what the Lord Jesus says about both places

“…and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 13:42

“And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’”” Luke 16:23-24

Those who are saved will have new bodies, new responsibilities, a new home, new rewards, new clothing, new food, a new name… they will be children.

“…who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body…” Philippians 3:21

“…and His servants shall serve Him.” Revelation 22:3

“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2

“…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” Matthew 6:20
“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments…” Revelation 3:5

“To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written…” Revelation 2:17

“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” Revelation 21:7

People work so hard in order to eat, dress and live well. They even try to get a new body through plastic surgery, etc. However, everything they achieve in this world will pass and remain here.

We are not a body. We are a soul that uses a body. Every need that we have in this world will be met in heaven. The kingdom of heaven will not be a tedious place as many think, with nothing to do. Actually, it will be the exact opposite of this.

“…eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

However, one of the devil’s strategies is to make people think that the kingdom of heaven is some tedious place, where the saved will only play the harp and fly like angels. They think that we will be surrounded by clouds.

In contrast, they think hell will be fun, with lots of parties, music, drinks. As this video illustrates.
