God's will

Every servant’s priority is to know his Lord’s will and to execute it. This is how Jesus behaved when He was on earth, and this is how His disciples should behave.

However, the biggest problem is to know His will. Many people can’t understand it because they insist on adapting it to their own, which makes things even harder… Is God’s will that complicated? Should we give God’s will our own little touch?

But true servants are always concerned about God’s will because they have the same Spirit that guided the Lord Jesus.

And how can we know God’s will?

First, we must be in spirit, that is, we must have our minds set on the things of God. To be in spirit is to entertain divine thoughts.

Second, we must have absolute certainty, or conviction, that our actions do not contradict the Word of God. This is the voice of faith!

There is not much to explain about this state of grace because it comes as a revelation from the Spirit. Those who have it know what needs to be done and they take action. God’s will is natural, simple, and good—and usually contrary to ours.
