Since the beginning of Christianity, the people of God have endured constant tests of faith.

Each person fights his or her own battle. Whether it is against the desires of the flesh, misunderstandings, loneliness, injustices, even in the church; this is, there are complicated situations everywhere. And as if this wasn’t enough, there are still financial, love life, and family problems…

At the beginning of my career in the faith, it was not easy either. I remember being heartbroken, alone, the comments and looks filled with criticism because of my faith – I was considered a fanatic by those I loved the most.

No one believed in me…

And the worst part is that this phase lasted about eight years. And when I finally found my other half, my pastor tried to take her for his son! Can you believe that?

Look, I know this fire very well, even before I began to preach the Gospel. So I won’t even mention after I started preaching!

Today, with more than 54 years of living by faith, it’s no longer a stranger! It has become a companion…

But in the apostolic age, the Holy Spirit already warned true Christians, by saying:

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. 1 Peter 4.12

The most glorious thing about all this is no one endures the trial unless he is loved very much!

Those who are of God endure this fire because they are of God! And so they are a co-participants in the sufferings of Jesus.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 1 Peter 4.14
