Faith versus problems

God does not deliver us from facing everyday problems…

He did not deliver Daniel from reaching the lions’ den, but closed their mouths. Nor did He prevent his friends from being thrown into the overly lit furnace, but did not let a single hair of theirs burn.

Those who aspire to riches, prepare for persecution:

‘… “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life”’ (Mark 10:29-30)

Whoever thinks that to follow and serve the Lord Jesus means they will be free from their problems, forget it.

Whoever thinks that to be filled with the Spirit of Peace means they will be free from problems, also forget it.

The peace of the Holy Spirit is in the inside, not the outside.

However great the spiritual or material blessings may be, problems will always exist. They are part of a life with or without God. There are no time-outs from problems here on Earth.

One thing is certain: God has given us tools capable of overcoming any and all problems. Glory be to Him for this!

‘…rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.’ (Romans 5.2-4)

Which means that in the same way we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory, we should also rejoice during our everyday problems.

These problems are what teaches us, in practice to have perseverance, experiences of faith and how to conserve our faith. This signifies the materialisation of supernatural faith.

It is the deserts that matures and prepare the servants of God.

If Jesus had to be taken to the desert by the Holy Spirit in order to be prepared, how are we able to avoid it?

Faith is not only the tool for glorious achievements, but also for defence.
