Faith that makes a difference
Many have confused biblical faith with being religious. Biblical faith has to do with the conviction of what is written in the Word of God and cannot fail, while being religious waters down the faith to the point where it becomes a carnival of religious emotions.
Of course, the lack of knowledge of the Truth about the Living God has pushed people into the arms of religious systems.
The Faith of God comes from the Spirit of God through hearing the preaching of His Word; meanwhile, religious faith comes from the paganism of the human mind inspired by deceiving spirits.
Intelligent Faith comes by hearing the teachings of Scripture, which, when digested in the intellect, lead to the act of obedience. (Romans 10.17)
Therefore, Biblical Faith is pure intelligence because it is free from emotions or feelings of the heart.
Like a small flame of fire is capable of burning down an entire forest, so is Biblical Faith. Its size does not matter as long as it is pure, without doubt. Like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground, it is capable of growing and becoming a tree, the largest plant in the ground.
Fire, wind, and water are transforming energy generating elements. So is the energy of Faith that comes from the Throne of God. It changes the state of a lost case when the person believes in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. As it is written:
He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes – with the princes of His people. He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children. Psalm 113.7-9
